What is so different about the Bonus Discs?

The ‘Bonus Discs’ across this little online shop are CDs that contain the original track and further tracks where the vocals and instrumental stems have been isolated making them slightly different from the original versions previously issued.

It takes quite a bit of time to fully isolate the different stems, but the end result means an original two-sided 45 single becomes a six track CD featuring interesting outputs that I hope adds an interesting dimension to the songs.

We do have six stem versions (vocals, guitar, bass, drums, piano & other) of the Bonus Discs, but there is only so much information you can put on a small label, and therefore you will only find three stem versions across this little shop.

On first hearing it is somewhat strange to hear the instrumental version without the lead vocals, and also with the lead vocal without the backing track. What is interesting is when you listen to an isolated vocal it is quite haunting on how some of them sound so delightful as a solo recording.

And, that it what makes a Bonus Disc so different.
